Uniting Neighborhoods Through Soccer
The HFA Community Cup brings together young athletes from Compton, Downey, El Monte, and Whittier for a World Cup-style tournament celebrating neighborhood pride, community connection, and the unifying power of the game.

The Community Cup final on June 6th brings youth, families, and participating schools together to celebrate culture, play, and neighborhood pride through soccer. Qualifying game days will be hosted for participating schools, with top teams advancing to a final tournament.
(This tournament is only open to students from participating HFA schools.
Teams are formed through school programs — there is no public registration.)

Division: 4th–5th Grade
Where: Griffiths Middle School; 9633 Tweedy Lane, Downey, CA 90240
Team Size: 12 players per team (7v7)

Saturday, June 6th
8:30 AM | Arrival/Check-In
Teams arrive, check in, and get ready for competition.
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Group Play (3 Games Guaranteed)
Each team will play 3 games during pool play.
1:00 PM | Group Play Ends
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM | Championship Rounds
Top teams advance to semifinals and finals, with championship celebration at the end.

HFA will provide official PUMA game uniforms. This is a special HFA Community Cup kit for each player to wear during the event and keep as part of their experience. (Please note: player's specific t-shirt size is not guaranteed)
Players must bring and wear shin guards and appropriate footwear (cleats or turf shoes)
Parents/guardians are responsible for providing water for participants throughout the day. Complimentary drinks from Plezi will also be available throughout the event.
