San Tia; from HFA student coach to Stanford

Spring, 2025

In high school, San Tia played Varsity Tennis for four years while maintaining a 4.7 cumulative GPA. She held multiple leadership roles, serving as president of Power4Periods, vice president of Femineers, the Trevor Project Club, and the Writing Center, secretary of the Eco Club, and treasurer of the Math Competition Club. She also worked as a math tutor, Writing Center tutor, and Link Crew leader. Beyond her school commitments, San Tia volunteered with Home Field Advantage, the Downey Theatre, PIH, and held a part-time job at a restaurant. Over the course of her high school career, she received four Viking Awards in Biological Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, and Social Science.
She will be attending Stanford University in the fall.
