Student Coach Application

Applications are accepted year-round. Submitting an application does not guarantee an immediate placement. Qualified students may be contacted when a coaching opportunity is available.

WHO CAN APPLY

  • High school students in grades 9–12

  • Students who are interested in serving Downey, El Monte, & Whittier

  • Students who are interested in learning, leading, and working with younger athletes

  • No previous coaching experience is required

INTERESTED IN THE STUDENT COACH MICRO-INTERNSHIP?

The HFA Student Coach Micro-Internship is a structured opportunity for a select group of Student Coaches who are ready to take on additional responsibility.

Micro-Interns build on their coaching experience through additional training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Students who successfully complete the program receive a participation award.
