The road to 2028 starts in our neighborhoods.

Bringing young people, local organizations, and communities together through sports, movement, arts, and leadership.

More than a Tournament

A nine-month countywide tournament and enrichment series culminating in regional and countywide events in 2028.

The Youth Neighborhood Games is more than a tournament or event series. It is an organizing and activation platform designed to strengthen the youth sports ecosystem and advance systems-level change.

The goal is not simply to create successful Games, but to help build a youth sports system where every young person in Los Angeles County has meaningful access to high-quality, inclusive, and positive sports and movement experiences.

About the Games

The Youth Neighborhood Games is a countywide youth sports and enrichment initiative leading up to the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Led by a network of youth-serving organizations, schools, public agencies, and community partners, the Games will create opportunities for young people across Los Angeles County to participate in sports, movement, arts, and leadership.

More than a series of competitions, the Games are about bringing communities together, expanding access to positive youth experiences, and building a stronger foundation for youth sports across the county.

Through local programming, regional events, and countywide celebrations, we're working toward a future where every young person has the opportunity to play, participate, and lead.
